The shoe hunt continues, and I’m really appreciating that Endless.com has a bunch of appropriate styles on clearance right now.
So far these Easy Street slingbacks are the winners. They are comfortable and I can attach a fabric flower around the band across the top if I want. They have pointy enough toes, and match the dress well enough. What they lack in excitement they make up for in price.
But I’ve also ordered these blue shoes to try:

The blue Hale Bob Women’s Katia Pump are cute, no? And it looks like I grabbed the last pair because only ones in black remain. In my size. But which I do not need. Even thought they are cute. I’ve also ordered the Franco Sarto Web Slide because the twist goes well with the dress and these look comfortable.
Two more that might match the color of the dress:

The Aerosoles Open Toe Pump might just be comfortable and is very similar to the first choice above, and the Bandolino Elycee Slingback Sandal could be cute. The rouching would go with the dress and I could attach a fabric flower to the dot in the front.

The slides are wicked cute, but I think the brown heel makes them too casual for your beautiful dress. I love the blue shoe idea.
The last one wins on cuteness in my book…
Blue shoes, blue shoes, blue shoes… they’re both gorgeous…
I am with Eliza, I like the last shoe in off white with the gathering. Its a little more interesting, but I don’t think it’ll take anything away from the dress.
I love the Bandolinos! But I think you should go for blue shoes–I wore teal strappy wedges to my beach wedding.
i vote for the katia pumps. dressy enough, and BLUE! love blue. i wore pink shoes, so i definitely vote for a touch of color. but i also love the last ones.
I got the Katia pumps last night and they are wildly adorable with the dress but a whole size too small for me and there is no chance I could wear them. And they were the last pair on sale at Endless. Darn.
I love that we all get to vote on this. I think you should keep shopping. Isn’t there a Nordstrom shoe rack near you? Wishing you and Scott a perfect wedding and a happy married life.
If you plan to dance at all in your wedding shoes, I’d recommend something with a backstrap. Slides can be cute & comfy but come off way easily on dance floors (or at any speed above walking, really).
Elis - Good point, thank you. I don’t plan on dancing, we’re just going out to dinner afterwards, but I don’t want to rule it out either.
