The day before we left I realized we needed a camera. I have a big DSLR that I knew I wasn’t going to lug around with me, and the cameras on our iPhones are slow and don’t take great pictures. So, we ran out and bought a tiny Nikon Coolpix. I don’t know if I could recommend this size camera for it’s picture quality (the tiny but more expensive Canon cameras seem preferred for that) but having a lightweight and easy to carry camera was fantastic.
Above are a few of my favorite memories. From the top left: The night before, we went to the marriage license bureau and got window #10 that had heart stickers in it. The light in the makeup mirror in our (fabulous) bathroom was burned out so I brought it out to the window to apply wedding makeup, I had a view of the Palazzo in one direction, and the Trump tower in the other. Before we headed to the chapel we went to the hotel lobby and got Scott a shoe shine. A crooked mirror picture from the chapel. Afterwards we got slices of cake to go from Freed’s and brought them to the lobby of the Bellagio to eat. A picture of just-married us under the trees in the lobby of the Wynn. Some people take pictures of their wedding rings next to flowers, we did our on top of a cocktail napkin while sipping cool drinks next to a fake waterfall. A shaky trial at taking a W-E-D handsign in a margarita bar (notice the salt on the table).
You guys look great! I like your mirror shot at the chapel. Reminds me of our wedding mirror shot — except, ya know, yours isn’t in a bathroom.

those photos look gorgeous. You look gorgeous! Though I must ask, is there a way to see the pictures a bit larger. It’s hard to make out the details on your dress/your face/etc. when they are small. Also, can I just say, a shoe shot is essential on all occasions :). Also that picture of you two under those lit up trees is awesome. Okay! I’m done stalking your wedding photos. Congratulations again! You’re married and everything went off without a hitch! (well except for intended hitching of you two.. yes yes I know I am hilarious, and you’ve never heard that one before.)

I have been away, swamped, and otherwise not online…but I’m back and wanted to say CONGRATS to you (be it belatedly) on your marriage! Your pictures look awesome and you obviously had some quality time with Da Guy, as it should be. My hat’s off to you, friend! And for what it’s worth, I have to stop pouring over your photos of those cakes–they are unbelievably delicious-looking, much better than any wedding cake I have seen/tasted. (: Hooray to you and Scott!
